Plant Safety Audits

Adept have the specialist skills required for pressure vessel inspection and plant safety audits.

Whether you have several or thousands of sites with pressure vessels, Adept can complete plant safety audits across Australia.

We work with many clients who have pressure vessels on site, but are unaware of what type of pressure vessels they have or their responsibilities.

We will provide you with your national pressure vessel asset list and a comprehensive overview of your pressure vessel compliance. Our team can then rectify any outstanding registrations and provide consultation on managing non-compliant pressure vessels. You’ll receive an overall picture of the common non-compliances and what is happening to cause them.

Our audit procedures for property, plant and equipment

Adept can perform an audit on your site and Pressure equipment with little to no input from you. Following an audit, Adept will highlight and detail what pressure vessels you have, your vessels’ compliance status, report any immediate risks and inform you what actions are necessary for your equipment to become compliant.

  1. Adept begin by gaining permission for our inspectors to enter your site/s.
  2. Adept review any pressure vessel documents that you have provided to assist. If you have several similar sites, just provide the number and location of each site.
  3. Adept take care of it from there, conducting our inspections and providing reports on all your pressure vessels, such as your legal requirements.
  4. Adept can then highlight any actions you need to take to be compliant and any/all outstanding registrations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have no idea what equipment I have let alone what pressure vessels I have?

Don’t worry, this is often the case, especially if you have a large asset list or many sites. Adept have successfully completed pressure vessel audits with no prior information other than addresses.

I know that I have pressure vessels on my site/s but I don’t have any documentation. Is that a problem?

This happens more often than you think. We can assist with your documentation by completing an inspection, where we will provide you with a report on what you do have and advise of what is missing.

I do have an asset list that I can provide to assist with the audit. Can you just go off of that?

Adept Inspectors don’t put anything on our reports other than what we have confirmed visually ourselves. To ensure all provided information is valid, we will always do our own checks. However we still welcome an asset list to refer to as it can be helpful.

Do you need me to do anything else for the audit?

Yes. Please ensure Adept has access to your site and equipment. We can’t inspect pressure vessels that are in a locked room without a key. We will also need you to take action on the non-compliances identified in the reports we provide you. If you need guidance and assistance with this step, we can help.
