Overview
Training
Licence to operate a standard boiler- High risk work licence
Gain recognised competency with Adept’s Standard Boiler operator course.
Our course flexibility means trainees have the ability to gain competency at their own pace without time pressures.
This licence allows you to operate a standard boiler with a single fuel source that does not have a pre-heater, superheater or economiser attached

Delivery
Adept offers on-site formal theoretical training through our three-day Standard Boiler course. This course requires eight hours of training per day and the completion of a logbook for each trainee in their own time. Upon completion, our Assessor will return to conduct a two-hour practical assessment for each trainee.
Adept also offers self-paced training for Standard Boiler License courses. We will send notes and logbooks to trainees for self-paced completion. Once logbooks are completed and Adept is notified, our Assessor will provide a two-day theoretical training course and conduct a two-hour practical assessment for each trainee.
Requirements
All that Adept requires is that you already have access to a boiler.
Assessment
Both Standard Boiler License training options will require a RTO written and practical Assessment by Adept Assessor. This allows our Assessors to gauge a trainee’s competency and provide them with feedback. Following successful completion of Adept assessment, we organise Safework NSW State Authority Assessment.
Successful trainees will receive a Notice of Satisfactory Assessment that can be then processed at an Australia Post Office, along with 100 points of identification and any other required documentation.
