Do I need to get my pressure vessel inspected?
Yes, pressure vessel inspection is actually legislated and with good reason because a pressure vessel that has been: installed incorrectly or/and improperly maintained or/and had non-compliant alterations or/and simply wasn’t designed to the standards in the first place can be a dangerous hazard to your workplace.
Do I need to get my pressure vessel plant item registered?
Yes, if it is a hazard level C or higher. Check if your pressure vessel needs registration here.
Can I just register my pressure vessel/s without having it inspected?
No, when you register a pressure vessel, you are declaring that it is safe to operate and being inspected by a competent person on a regular basis.
How often do I need to renew my pressure vessel’s registration?
Annually. We can manage this for you.
I’m just renewing the registration not registering it, do I still need to get my pressure vessel/s inspected?
Yes. Whether you are completing an initial registration or just renewing the registration, you are still declaring that it is safe to operate and is being inspected by a competent person on a regular basis.
