Boiler and pressure vessel inspection in the NT

Adept provides boiler and pressure vessel inspections in Darwin and all other parts of the Northern Territory. We ensure excellence by working with any of your existing boiler
service companies. Our Inspectors can do both visual internal and external
boiler inspections to AS/NZS 3788 2006, and will utilize ultrasonic thickness
testing and videoscopes where needed to ensure ongoing reliability.

High Risk Work Licence training in the NT

Adept offer both live and in-person training or can also provide self-paced training. Will can arrive at your site to perform your boilers safety training requirements. We offer flexibility because we want to always ensure you and/or your employees can focus on retaining a comprehension of both the theory and practice of safe boiler operation.

Do I need to get my pressure vessel inspected?

Yes, pressure vessel inspection is legislated and with good reason because a pressure vessel that has been: installed incorrectly and/or improperly maintained and/or had non-compliant alterations and/or simply wasn’t designed to the standards in the first place can be a dangerous hazard to your workplace.

Do I need to get my pressure vessel plant item registered?

Yes, if it is a hazard level C or higher. Check if your pressure vessel needs registration here.

Can I just register my pressure vessel/s without having it inspected?

No you cannot register your pressure vessel without having it inspected. When you register a pressure vessel, you are declaring that it is safe to operate and is being inspected by a competent person on a regular basis.

How often do I need to renew my pressure vessel’s registration?

You need to renew your pressure vessel’s registration every 5 years. We can manage this for you.

I’m just renewing the registration not registering it, do I still need to get my pressure vessel/s inspected?

Yes. Whether you are completing an initial registration or just renewing the registration, you are still declaring that it is safe to operate and is being inspected by a competent person on a regular basis.
