Within our team, we have Senior A.I.C.I.P., A.I.C.I.P qualified, ex-Licensed Boiler Inspectors and Mechanical Engineers with over 100 years of combined experience.

Adept maintains NATA accreditation ISO 17020 Type A for in-service inspection. This is the highest standard of pressure vessel inspection accreditation you can achieve in Australia. It means that we are truly an independent inspection body that will never be biased or influenced in our assessment.
To achieve and maintain this accreditation, Adept is audited regularly to ensure our systems and training are up to the highest standard and that we uphold the values of integrity, impartiality and confidentiality.

Rob Svensk – Owner, Director, Technical Manager, RTO Trainer
Rob started Able Boiler Inspections with his wife, Vicki Svensk, 35 years ago with no staff. Through hard work, persistence, relationship building and consistently delivering outcomes/solutions to clients, Rob and Vicki grew Able Boiler Inspections organically, temporarily got bought out by HSB Australia and then bought their business back to become what it is now Adept Engineering Australia with 20 staff.
Rob is well-known and respected in the local community and wider industry. With 35 years of experience in the industry, he is a wealth of knowledge and the most honest person you’ve ever met. He has always gone above and beyond for his clients, which is one of the reasons why we have so many long-term happy customers.

Elizabeth Svensk – Chief Executive Officer, Company Secretary
Liz took over the running of Adept from her mother, Vicki Svensk, four years ago when Vicki was unwell and then passed away from Esophageal cancer.
Liz is passionate about Adept, viewing the company as another sibling. Growing up, she witnessed the triumphs and the trials of the company as her parents would discuss Adept over the dinner table most nights. Coming into the business, Liz felt like a duck to water and was prepared to do what it took to secure the business’s continued success.
Liz has brought new energy into Adept, leading a restructure, a technological systems overhaul, a rebranding and different approach to workplace culture. She is excited to take Adept paperless in 2021 and provide even more value to Adept clients.
Kate Lanzini – Safety and Compliance Manager, RTO Coordinator
Kate came to Adept with extensive quality management experience and a Diploma in Human Resources and Cert. 4 in WHS. She has been at Adept for 4 years and has grown the Adept RTO significantly in a short amount of time.
Kate’s commitment to safety and compliance has been evidenced by successfully achieving all four Adept accreditations and overhauling Adept’s third party compliance/inductions system to ensure no Adept Inspectors are denied entry to our client’s sites. With more than 3,000 clients, this is no small task.
Highly practical and full of charisma, if you need assistance with your high-risk work license or a compliance issue, Kate will get it done right.

At Adept, we are a proud Australian company with our head office based in Newcastle, NSW. We operate in every Australian State and Territory and have been managing a national client list for well over a decade. We are currently working to expand our local presence by establishing offices in Brisbane and Melbourne.
