The Managing Directors, Rob and Vicki Svensk, commenced their boiler inspection business under the name of Able Boiler Inspections in August 1986 and became a private company trading as Rob Svensk Pty Ltd in June 1991. The business steadily grew to become the largest inspection company in NSW. HSB Engineering Insurance Ltd., Connecticut, U.S.A., through their United Kingdom Branch purchased our business In January 2000. Rob and Vicki continued to manage the NSW and QLD branches of HSB until June 2005 when by mutual agreement, the Boiler and pressure vessel ‘fee for service’ part of the business was sold back to Rob and Vicki Svensk to become Adept Engineering Australia as it is today. Adept is proudly certified through QMS certification services as compliant with AS/NZS 9001:2008, and is also Accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) as a Type 'A' Inspection Body, compliant with AS/NZS ISO/IEC 17020:2000.
